Meet the Founders

The success of Skycrest has been a result of the passionate founders, John and Felicity Roff, and their desire to consistently strive for quality. Combined with their ability to source the finest ingredients, an excellent team and a myriad of satisfied customers, they created the perfect recipe for quality signature products.

John Roff was the Director and head of production. John’s skills and inspiration to create his own product range rose from his nine year career at The Sydney Opera House starting as a Function Chef, moving to position of Sous Chef and ultimately Executive Chef. John’s expertise was to create food that, not only looked beautiful but, also tasted wonderful.

Felicity Roff was the Director and head of the office front.  Felicity had many years of experience in business management and was your point of call for any questions or requests you may have had.

Skycrest Quality Foods was established in 1987, and grew from catering for corporate clients, to a diversified company involved in product development and sales.

At Skycrest Quality Foods we are committed in creating superior products using only the finest ingredients to make organising your event menu more convenient and less time consuming.

Skycrest has been, and will continue to be, an innovative and flexible supplier that responds quickly to the changing needs of our customers.

Our Story

1987 The Beginning

Skycrest Pty Ltd is established as a catering company.

1994 First Commercial Kitchen

Skycrest move to Alexandria  for their first commercial kitchen!  Purpose built by John Roff.

1995 The Expansion

Expanded selling Skycrest's famous butter pastry tartlets to restaurants and caterers.

1999 Supply to Airlines

Skycrest commence supply to Qantas for their international first class flights firstly with their famous butter pastry tartlets and secondly with sweet products for Sydney and Brisbane.

2003 Supply to Domestic Flights

Skycrest commence supply to Qantas for domestic flights (Business Class) - Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

2005 Expansion

Time to move the headquarters into a larger production kitchen- just across the road!  Again purpose built and designed by John Roff.

2008 Sharing is Caring

Skycrest begin donating to Oz Harvest.

2009 Serving Prominent Airlines

Skycrest commence supply to Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific.

2012 Certification

Skycrest Commence supply of Halal products for Qantas & Emirates. Skycrest  commence supply on the new East West flights with Q Catering to include all ports in Australia. Skycrest commence supply to Virgin domestic business class flights.

2013 Upgrade Service Capabilities

Expanded supply to Virgin to include International First and Business class.

Our Food is HACCP & Halal Certified
